Selling/Consigning

How does consigning at Kiddos work?

You price and tag your items, drop them off at the start of the 5-day event, and Kiddos sells them for you. You don't need to be present during the sale — just return at the end of the event to pick up your unsold items (or donate them) and collect your earnings check.

How much money do consignors earn from their sales?

Consignors earn 60% of their sales by default. By volunteering for work shifts and/or referring friends, you can increase your earnings up to 75%.

What items can I sell at Kiddos Consignment?

You can sell brand new or gently used children's items for ages 0–12, including clothing, shoes, toys, books, games, bikes, strollers, car seats, baby gear, play equipment, and nursery furniture. More info here.

Do I have to be present at the event to sell my items?

No! That's one of the biggest benefits. You drop off your tagged items and Kiddos does the rest. You only need to return at the end to pick up unsold items or authorize them for donation.

What happens to my unsold items?

After the event, you can pick up your unsold items or we'll donate them to a local charity on your behalf.

Why sell at Kiddos instead of Facebook Marketplace or apps like OfferUp?

Kiddos saves you the hassle of individual listings, no-shows, and last-minute haggling. You tag your items once, drop them off, and collect your earnings — all without dealing with strangers or scheduling meetups.

What condition do items need to be in to sell at Kiddos Consignment?

All items must be clean, and in good working condition. Items should be free of stains, rips, broken parts, and heavy wear. Think "would I be happy buying this?" — if yes, bring it! More info here.

Do you accept car seats?

Car seats are accepted only if they are 5 years old or newer, have never been involved in an accident, are not expired, and have all original parts and labels intact. For the safety of all families, we do not accept car seats that have been recalled or are missing their labels.

When and how do consignors receive their earnings?

Consignor earnings are paid out after the event concludes. You'll receive a check on pickup day. If you don't plan on picking up your items, please bring a self-addressed stamped envelope to drop off or sometime during the event and we will mail the check to you.
